Pro Tip: Hunter Isn’t Working
By the time you are reading this, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., will be on Fox spinning Hunter Biden’s closed-door deposition today. Unless Hunter Biden really screws up (which is possible), they will have about the same amount of evidence as when they started.
Let’s agree on a few things:
- Hunter Biden traded on his family name and father’s position for personal gain of millions if not tens of millions
- That’s wrong, and it should be illegal, but it may not be
- Nobody would buy Hunter’s art for $500,000 if his last name wasn’t Biden
- Hunter Biden got special treatment over and over because of his name
- Somehow, after 50 years of only making a government salary, Joe Biden owns multiple multimillion-dollar mansions
- There are some serious questions about the legality of “Biden, Inc.”
- It’s all beyond sleazy, and there appears to be illegal behavior by Hunter Biden
- Republicans keep getting farther, not closer, to the quid pro quo financial link between Hunter and his father.
It’s not working. Even Donald Trump doesn’t talk about Hunter Biden anymore. It’s not working, and nobody cares. Let’s move on.
Dueling Border Stunts — Nothing Will Change
Joe Biden and Donald Trump will both show up at the southern border tomorrow.
- Biden will blame Republicans for inaction
- Trump will blame Biden for an open border and Laken Riley’s murder
Both are correct, and both are to blame for not actually fixing the immigration problem in America.
Watch: Fox’s Sean Hannity slams Biden for going to the border and in the next sentence promotes his interview with Trump at the border.
“So That’s a Wow”
CNN’s John King summed up Joe Biden’s loss in Dearborn, Michigan, to “uncommitted” as “so that’s a wow.” Watch the clip.
The final tally in Dearborn showed Biden lost 56% to 40% to “uncommitted.”
Zoom out: Biden easily won the Michigan primary, but 100,000 Democrats voted “uncommitted” in protest largely over Biden’s handling of Israel’s war in Gaza.
Yikes. As we’ve reported, Biden has no out. Israel’s leaders do not view him as an honest and supportive partner. The pro-Hamas wing of American progressives views him as complicit in the “genocide” of Gaza.
He is stuck on Gaza like he is on the border/climate/student loans.
The Michigan vote shows Trump is stuck too.
- “Michigan Wins Carry Warning Signs for Biden and Trump,” writes the Wall Street Journal.
Trump continues to lose 20 to 40% of the Republican primary electorate to Nikki Haley.
This shows fundamental weakness for a man who needs every Republican vote there is PLUS college-educated suburban women to win the presidency. Right now, he’s very weak with both of those groups.
Yikes. Like Biden, Trump has no out.
Escape to socialist paradise:
- Representatives Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., took a trip to Cuba where the “uncommitted” vote is especially popular.
- Thought bubble: For people who claim to care so much about human rights and taking on Putin, Cuba jails and tortures political activists and supports Russia and Iran.
If You Watch One Thing
Fire crews drive through towering flames as wildfires take over the Texas Panhandle. Right now, fire consumes an area half the size of Rhode Island.
Google Apologizes, But Fails to Say Why
Google issued a non-apology-apology for its history-rewriting AI machine that couldn’t say Hitler was bad and when asked to create pictures of America’s Founding Fathers spit out images of Black men in colonial garb. The best (or worst) was creating pictures of Asian and Black Nazi soldiers.
Apologies are great, but when you read the CEO’s letter that Bloomberg got ahold of, he couldn’t even say what he was apologizing for:
- He writes, “I know that some of its responses have offended our users and shown bias – to be clear, that’s completely unacceptable and we got it wrong.”
Fact check: Google’s head AI programmer tried so hard (we know that from his since-deleted tweets).
To be woke, he created a machine that literally rewrote history. That is not bias; that is “1984”-like.
- Don’t believe me: Would Jack Krawczyk still have a job if he had created an AI bot that when asked to create pictures of 1960 civil rights leaders made them white?
Why it matters: AI will soon make major decisions about every part of our lives, including health care. For it to so clearly have an “equity” bias rather than “equality” bias, it will turn us into some weird Soviet dreamland.
Look forward: For so long, we’ve been told you have to say what you are apologizing for, acknowledge your bias, et cetera. Google double-failed.
