(NewsNation) — Since the beginning of 2022, there have been nearly 60 shark attacks with six of them being deadly. Of that total, 32 shark attacks have been in the U.S., with 19 in the state of Florida, according to Tracking Sharks.

In the video above, Leland Vittert asks if part of the problem could be conservation efforts having to do with seals.

Professional shark diver Rayna O’Nan weighs in on the issue.
