CLEVELAND (NewsNation Now) — In the backdrop of raging wildfires in California, President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden discussed the climate and alternative energy.

This topic was not on the original list of topics for the debate, but became an area of focus as moderator Chris Wallace looked at the records of Trump and Biden.
