PHOENIX (NewsNation Now) — With less than a week until Election Day, President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s campaigns are heading west Wednesday.

Trump will hold two rallies in the battleground state of Arizona, where Biden’s running mate Sen. Kamala Harris will also spend the day campaigning.

Trump will deliver remarks at 2 p.m. ET in Bullhead City, a town just across the Colorado River from neighboring Nevada. The move comes as Trump aims to make a crunch-time appeal to voters in Nevada, which hasn’t backed a Republican for president since 2016.

Trump is also slated to give a speech at the Phoenix Goodyear Airport at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Biden will spend the day in his home of Wilmington, Delaware, with all scheduled appearances to be conducted virtually.

But Harris will travel to Arizona as the Biden campaign eyes the state once reliably red as a candidate to flip to blue.

Harris will meet with a group of Latina business owners in Tucson at around 1:30 p.m. ET. She’ll also host a drive-in voter mobilization event in the city before meeting with a group of Black leaders in Phoenix. At around 6:30 p.m. ET, Harris and Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys will urge Phoenix residents to vote early at a drive-in event.

If Biden were to win Arizona, it would be the first for a Democratic presidential candidate in the state since Bill Clinton in 1996.

Wednesday’s West Coast focus comes after Trump visited Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska on Tuesday, while Biden made two stops in Georgia.

Vice President Mike Pence will target the Midwest Wednesday, with rallies in Wisconsin and Michigan.

So far, more than 70 million people have cast early in-person and mail ballots, according to data compiled by the U.S. Elections Project at the University of Florida. That is a record-setting pace and more than half of the total 2016 turnout.
