(NewsNation Now) — Coming off the final presidential debate, President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden held several campaign events Friday.
Biden delivered remarks about his coronavirus plan in Wilmington, Delaware while the president held two rallies in Florida.
Biden served as a U.S. Senator for Delaware for 36 years.
Florida has historically been a battleground state in presidential elections. In 2016, Trump won whereas in 2012 and 2008, former Democratic President Barack Obama won the state.
According to a NewsNation/Emerson College poll from Oct. 12, Biden had a slim edge over Trump in Florida. The former vice president’s lead was within the margin of error of 3.7%.
