CHICAGO (NewsNation Now) — A ballot recount is expected in the State of Georgia and possibly other key contested states.

Challenging ballots that have already been counted and accepted by state officials can be a difficult and tedious process. So what are the rules?

NewsNation talked to Travis Crum, an associate professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis. He has also lectured at the University of Chicago Law School. His education includes Yale Law School and the London School of Economics.
