President Biden got an emotional reception during his appearance on the first night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Monday.

Vice President Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez all made appearances on stage as well, eliciting loud cheers from the crowd.

President Biden on July 21 announced he was withdrawing his bid for reelection to make room for Harris.

All eyes were on the president as he addressed a raucous audience at the United Center for nearly an hour.
