(NewsNation) — A Redfin-Ipsos study has revealed the living preferences of Americans surveyed regarding access to abortion.

While all states in America have access to abortion, the degrees vary drastically. Alabama is among several states which consider abortion illegal except for when the mother’s life is in danger. In some cases, there are exceptions for rape and incest.

On the other end, some states have no limits. Under Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, Minnesota has granted broader abortion freedoms.

If a baby survives an abortion, doctors are under no obligation to provide life-saving aid to the child as JD Vance said during the Vice Presidential debate.

Ipsos, on behalf of Redfin, surveyed 1,802 Americans between the ages of 18-65, asking them why they would move within a year and the importance of living in a state where abortion is “fully legal.”

Fifty-nine percent of millenials want to live in a state without abortion limits, 24% do not want to, while 16% don’t care. As for Gen Z, 51% want to, compared to 24% who don’t.

The largest percentile of individuals who do not want to live in a “fully legal” abortion state is Gen Z at 33%, followed by baby boomers and Gen X (30%), and lastly, millenials (24%).

Thirty-five percent of individuals planning to vote for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election would prefer to live in an “abortion state,” compared to 45% who do not want to.

While 75% of voters for Vice President Kamala Harris want to reside in a state where abortion is legal without exception as opposed to 13% who don’t want to.
