(NewsNation) — Political commentator Bill O’Reilly predicts Vice President Kamala Harris will blame former President Donald Trump for the Biden administration’s policy failures in Tuesday’s presidential debate.

Speaking on NewsNation’s “On Balance,” O’Reilly said Harris is likely to deflect criticism on issues like Afghanistan, inflation and border policy by faulting Trump.

“Almost immediately, the Harris campaign puts on its website that, oh no, that’s wrong. Trump caused the disastrous withdrawal,” O’Reilly said, referring to a new House Republican report on the Afghanistan pullout. “Now, ‘malarkey’ doesn’t even go close to covering this, but that’s what you’re going to hear tomorrow night.”

O’Reilly expressed doubt that ABC News moderators would challenge Harris on such claims, fearing accusations of helping Trump.

The former Fox News host advised Trump to simply “muse” about policy issues during the debate, arguing Harris “can’t answer any of it.”

O’Reilly also compared Harris’ campaign strategy to that of Warren Harding in 1920, suggesting she’s avoiding detailed policy discussions.

The ABC News Presidential Debate will air live on NewsNation at 9 p.m. ET, with predebate coverage beginning at 7 p.m.
