(The Hill) – Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan said he’d be willing to step into the political ring if necessary, when asked during a Fox News interview Friday.

“We need somebody in there that’s got some common sense, you know what I’m saying? So if you need a president or a vice president, I’ll volunteer and take this country over, and I’ll rule with an iron fist,” the 70-year-old celebrity, otherwise known as Terry Gene Bollea, told the hosts of “Fox & Friends.”

The WWE Hall of Famer added his top policy positions would include “a flat tax and nothing but common sense.”

“I know right from wrong, brother!” Hogan added.

Hogan said in 2018 that he mulled a Florida Senate run, and that people had often urged him to run for office. He ultimately decided against the move.

Hogan’s remarks come following appearances on Fox News earlier this week to promote the launch of his Real American Beer.

“I had this crazy idea because I saw how competitive the beer industry was, and I saw what happened with Bud Light and their whole promotion that crashed and burned. I saw this crazy open lane,” Hogan said, referencing the fallout from the beer brand’s marketing partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney last year.

Mulvaney posed with a personalized Bud Light can in a sponsored post online. It went viral and prompted some conservatives to launch a boycott of the brand. Bud Light ultimately lost its 20-year title as the nation’s top-selling beer brand.

Hogan’s Real American Beer cans feature an image of the wrestler waving an American flag. He said his goal is to “bring America back together, one beer at a time” — across party lines and other divides.
