Watch: FOX59/CBS4 Indiana Governor Debate
INDIANAPOLIS — For the first time this election year, the two major party candidates are having the opportunity to participate in a televised debate surrounding issues that are important for Indiana voters.
U.S. Senator Mike Braun, R-Ind., the Republican candidate for Indiana governor, along with Jennifer McCormick, the state’s former superintendent for public instruction and the Democratic candidate for Indiana governor, will participate in FOX59/CBS4’s debate Wednesday evening.
This comes after current Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, a Republican, is not able to seek reelection because of state term limit laws. Donald Rainwater, a Libertarian candidate in the state of Indiana, is also running for governor but did not meet the station’s criteria for this debate.
The debate will be broadcast live from the FOX59/CBS4 studios in northwest Indianapolis at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The hour-long debate will air live on FOX59 and CBS4 as well as in a live feed in the video with this story.
