Chargers News: Justin Herbert's 2024 NFL MVP Odds Revealed

Herbert enters the 2024 season just outside the top-5 of NFL MVP odds.

Although the 2024 season won't officially begin until March, the page has turned for fans, teams, and oddsmakers.

FanDuel Sportsbook released the odds for the 2024-2025 regular season MVP, and Los Angeles Chargers star quarterback Justin Herbert is high on the list.

According to FanDuel, Herbert has the sixth-best odds of winning NFL MVP next season. Herbert has +1300 odds.

The other five players ahead of him are all in his conference, the AFC. In front of Herbert is Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Texans QB CJ Stroud, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Bills QB Josh Allen, and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes leads the pack with +650 odds.

Herbert is sure to have a better season in 2024, barring health. He has a real head coach on his side who has helped elevate the play of his quarterbacks everywhere he's gone. Also, there won't be much pressure on Herbert in Jim Harbaugh's offense. He will have his moment, but Harbaugh wants to run the ball, and eventually, that will open up things for the 25-year-old.

Harbaugh will only help Hebretr reach a new level, and if that results in an MVP, then so be it. Herbert wants to win, which should come quickly under his new coach.

An MVP award would be excellent, but the Chargers are in it for wins on the field and to accomplish something they have yet to reach. After an injury-riddled season, Herbert and his team are coming for vengeance.
