Chiefs' Last Loss Was Against the Raiders

The last time the Kansas City Chiefs lost a game was on Christmas Day to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 2023-24 NFL regular season is officially over, as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22 in Super Bowl LVIII in Allegiant Stadium.

The Las Vegas Raiders now have many decisions to make this offseason, starting with the 2024 NFL Draft.

In a recent Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast, our own Hondo Carpenter Sr. discussed five reasons of optimism why Raider Nation should be excited when approaching the 2024-25 NFL regular season.

Two of the optimisms discussed on the podcast were physicality and discipline. Both topics discussed were in play when the Raiders defeated the Chiefs 20-14 on Christmas Day.

At the beginning of the episode, Carpenter discussed the Super Bowl LVIII recap and mentioned how the Chief's last loss was against the Silver and Black at Arrowhead Stadium.

"The Raiders entered Kansas City on Christmas Day and thumped the Super Bowl Champions. They lost the last game to the Raiders at home on Christmas Day. That tells you that this is not a team in rebuild."

Defensively, the Silver and Black were led by cornerback Jack Jones and edge rusher Malcolm Koonce.

Jones finished the game with four tackles and one interception that led to an 18-yard pick-six.

Statistically, Koonce finished the game with one of the best defensive performances of his career. Koonce finished the game with six combined tackles and three sacks on the three-time Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes.

Offensively, the Raiders were led by running back Zamir White. Like Koonce, White also finished the game statistically as the best in his career. White finished the game rushing on 22 carries for 145 rushing yards.
