Raiders NFL Draft Prospect: T Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

Offensive tackle Tyler Guyton of Oklahoma is one of the most athletic tackles in this year's draft, and would be a great potential second-round pickup for the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders have made it known they are quite open to taking a quarterback in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Should they have a chance to draft in the second round, an offensive tackle could be the next box they look to check on their list.

Oklahoma's Tyler Guyton would be a quality option early in Day 2 of the draft, as he is one of the most athletic at his position in this year's class.

Guyton not only has experience playing tackle, but he also played a little H-back at in his second season at TCU (2021), where he played two seasons before transferring. He even caught a touchdown pass in the Horned Frogs' regular season finale.

Guyton comes off an impressive 2023 campaign with Oklahoma, one in which he was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention. He made nine starts in 10 games as he helped lead the Sooners to a 10-3 record. The season prior, his first with Oklahoma, Guyton played in 10 games, making five starts.

In the aforementioned 2021 season with TCU, Guyton played in eight games after having appeared in just one game in his first collegiate season.

Guyton's presence on the Raiders would greatly help the team's flexibility on the offensive line, considering they may need to move players around following free agency. His ability to play H-back, left tackle, and right tackle makes him a very appealing prospect among offensive linemen in this year's draft class and one that could end up being considered a steal on Day 2.

Guyton stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 327 pounds.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
