(NewsNation) — Dr. Ben Carson said he suspects Nikki Haley‘s relationship with former President Donald Trump will improve and that she will campaign for him as the 2024 election nears.
“The Republicans have to recognize that this is an essential election because it’s not about Republicans and Democrats,” Carson saidThursday on “The Hill.” “It’s about whether we want a country that is formed by the people or the government.”
Polling for the 2024 presidential election has tightened, with Vice President Kamala Harris leading in three of the seven swing states and Trump leading in three others.
