TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Southwest Airlines is adding more flights, including redeyes, ahead of college football games for fans to cheer on their teams this fall.

Earlier this month, the official airline of the Southeastern Conference announced additional flights between Tampa and Austin for the November game between the University of Florida and the University of Texas.

From Nov. 7 through Nov. 10, extra flights are available for the highly anticipated SEC matchup, taking place in Texas on Saturday, Nov. 9 at noon.

Overnight flying is launching on Feb. 13, with the first redeye flights beginning on March 6, departing from Denver, Colorado; San Diego, California; and Sacramento, California.

Southwest is adding additional services for the following matchups:

  • Omaha, Nebraska and Los Angeles, California (Nov. 16 game)
  • Columbus, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois (Nov. 16 game)
  • Cleveland, Ohio and New Orleans, Louisiana (Nov. 17 game)
