(NEXSTAR) – Three people were killed and eight others were wounded in shooting at grocery store in south Arkansas Friday, police say.
Nexstar’s KARK reports two people shot at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce were law enforcement officers who are expected to be OK.
Arkansas State Police say the alleged shooter, identified as 44 year-old Travis Posey, incurred a non-life-threatening shot from law enforcement and was arrested. Posey is facing three charges of capital murder and more charges are expected to follow, according to ASP.
“My prayers are with the victims and all those impacted by this,” Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
