OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma City Police are searching for a man they say was caught on camera killing a puppy.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, a dead puppy was found by a local business owner in the 3700 block of S. Missouri Ave near SE Grand Blvd. and I-35.

Officials say the discovery prompted the business owner to check surveillance video which revealed what actually happened.

WARNING: The video below contains disturbing content

“A dead puppy found by a local business owner led to video of this man brutally killing it.” said OKCPD.

Police say the man carried the puppy down the street by its back legs, dragging its nose on the pavement. The man then places the squirming puppy on a curb before stomping on the puppy’s head multiple times. He then picks it up and throws it on the ground before walking away.

“This is a very dangerous individual, we want to identify this person,” said MSgt. Jennifer Wardlow with OKCPD. “It’s nighttime video but we do believe it’s good enough video that someone might recognize him and help us solve this case.”

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact OKC Crime Stoppers by calling 405-235-7300 or submitting an anonymous tip online.
