Child robbed at gunpoint in Tennessee apartment complex
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A child and two adults were robbed at gunpoint while trying to get inside their Hickory Hill apartment earlier this week, police say.
Officers responded to the robbery in the 6200 block of Lake Arbor Drive around 9:45 p.m. on Monday.
Memphis Police say three victims, including a 7-year-old girl, were robbed at gunpoint by three men while trying to enter their apartment.
The suspects stole the child’s backpack, which contained toys and a green iPhone 11 with a cat phone case. They also took a gym bag containing men’s clothing, a wallet, a passport, and multiple credit cards.
The three men fled the scene on foot.
Police describe the suspects as the following:
- Suspect #1 – a man wearing a black head cover, a gold hoodie, and light blue jeans.
- Suspect #2 – a man wearing a black hoodie with blue and black pants.
- Suspect #3 – a man wearing a red and orange head cover with a light blue top and bottom.
No arrests have been made at this time.
