(NewsNation) — Rescuers saved a driver from a truck dangling off a bridge over the Ohio River in footage captured by local station WDRB.

Emergency crews repelled down the Clark Memorial Bridge in Louisville, Kentucky, where the cab of a semi-truck was hanging off the side of a bridge with the driver inside.

The incident began with a crash between the semi, a pickup truck and two passenger vehicles. A first responder was able to rappel off the side of the bridge, pulling the woman who had been driving to safety.

Two people from the passenger vehicles were transported to the hospital with serious injuries and authorities said the bridge is likely to remain closed until Saturday. Read the full story on WDRB.
