MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is searching for two men and two women accused of stealing over $1,000 worth of lotion from an Ulta Beauty on Friday.
Officers responded to the shop around 4 p.m. for the felony shoplifting complaint.
A woman with long braids, wearing a red shirt and blue jeans was allegedly casing the business.
Police say two men then entered the business together. A woman wearing a white shirt and camo-style gray leggings followed in after them and allegedly assisted the men in finding specific merchandise.
One of the men, dressed in a gray hoodie and dark-colored jeans attempted to hide items while the other man, wearing a black hoodie and dark-colored jeans walked out of the store with more than 20 items of Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.
The stolen cream is worth over $1,000, according to MPD.
All four of the suspects fled the scene in a gray Honda Accord with an unknown temporary tag. The vehicle was also missing the driver-side rear hubcap.
