MEMPHIS, Tennessee (WJW) – A man wanted for murder tried to hide from law enforcement but didn’t quite make it.

According to the United States Marshals Service, Deario Wilkerson fell through the ceiling, from an attic where he was hiding.

It happened on Monday in Memphis.

The 20-year-old was wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in Memphis on April 2, according to the U.S. Marshals.

Wilkerson was not injured in the fall and was taken into custody.
