DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are working to identify a man who took an American flag from a storefront in Dickson, Tennessee, early Sunday morning.

The theft happened at Ragan’s Friendly Neighbor Store on Main Street at around 1:30 a.m.

Surveillance video released by the Dickson Police Department shows the thief asking someone off camera if he should “Take it with me?” A voice asks, “Do you want it?” to which the suspect replies, “Kind of.”

The man then takes the flag from its base and walks away as an engine is heard starting in the background.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Capt Chad Fussell at the Dickson Police Department at 615-441-9577.
