Chicago firefighters rescue man after garage collapse
CHICAGO (NewsNation) — Firefighters rescued a man after a garage collapse Friday afternoon in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.
Just after 4 p.m., Chicago fire responded to the call of a building collapse in the 3200 block of North Wilton.
Firefighters pulled a man from about eight feet of rubble after working through the debris for nearly 30 minutes. He was transported to Masonic Hospital in an unknown condition but was seen raising his hands over his head on the way to the hospital.
The circumstances around the garage collapse are not known at this time.
