GREEN, Ohio (WJW) — A Canton, Ohio, man was arrested and faces charges after investigators say he casted pornography onto a restaurant television while families with children were there dining.
According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at a restaurant on Massillon Road in the city of Green.
Investigators say three families went to the restaurant after a youth basketball tournament on Sunday, Feb. 4. The party included six kids ages 9 to 12.
The group told investigators that, while at the restaurant, they noticed pornography playing on one of the TVs.
Parents reached out to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, who responded to the restaurant around 8:30 p.m.
Investigators learned that someone was using their cell phone to cast pornography onto the TV, according to a press release.
Sheriff’s deputies say they identified the suspect, a 30-year-old Canton man, who was arrested Monday and taken to the Summit County Jail. He’s charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles under the age of 13.
