Man with ‘sword’ prompts hours-long standoff in Wisconsin
MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – On Sunday, a man who officers say was armed with a katana-like weapon was taken into custody after an hours-long standoff inside a Menasha business in Wisconsin.
According to the Menasha Police Department, officers were called to a business in the 1600 block of Appleton Road around 7:20 a.m. on October 13. When they arrived, broken glass was found at the scene and a man armed with a ‘large sword’ was seen inside the business.
