- Teen killed in Rochester, NH home invasion robbery in 2020
- Four masked suspects fled; vehicle identified by investigators
- Suspects believed to have ties to the Haverhill, MA area
(NewsNation) — The New Hampshire Department of Justice is asking for any information related to the killing of Michael Kenneth Mowry III, 19, of Rochester, New Hampshire during the Labor Day weekend of 2020.
Attorney General John M. Formella in a press release pushed the public for more tips in a case that has remained unsolved four years later. Up to $1,000 is awarded for tips that lead to an arrest.
Investigators confirmed that the teenager was found fatally shot inside the bedroom in his home at 64 Monroe Drive, Apartment 1, in Rochester.
Mowry was the victim of a home invasion robbery carried out around 3:00 am on August 30, 2020, by four male adult suspects wearing masks. The shooting was reported to 911 around 3:15 a.m.
Investigators identified a vehicle used by the masked individuals to flee and now believe the men responsible have ties to the Haverhill, Massachusetts/greater Merrimack Valley area of northeastern Massachusetts.
Other young residents living at the home with Mowry have been interviewed, cooperative and are not considered suspects by law enforcement.
“Mikie was a generous and loving kid who cherished his family, especially his three younger brothers, who really looked up to him. He was incredibly affectionate and gave the best hugs,” said Aimee Lussier remembering her late son. “The agony of his murder has been unbearable, made even harder because we don’t know who did this or why.”
