GILES COUNTY, Va. (NewsNation Now) — A woman has been charged after a missing 2-year-old boy in Virginia who was abducted from a nursery at a church was found Monday, authorities said.

Nancy Renee Fridley, 44, of Clinton Forge, faces one count of abduction and one count of felony child endangerment, according to Giles County Sheriff Morgan Millirons.

Noah Trout was found at Fridley’s home Monday morning. Officials set up a perimeter around the home in Alleghany County after FBI Richmond agents and Virginia State Police Tactical Team members spotted a child who matched Noah Trout’s description in the area.

FBI agents and the Virginia State Police Tactical Team were able to recover Noah, who has since been reunited with his family.

Authorities say there is no known motive for this abduction; however, the investigation continues.

FBI Richmond said Noah was taken from the nursery at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, Virginia, just before noon local time Sunday.

Virginia State Police had said the child was in “extreme danger.”
