Everyone loves a man in uniform, but the state troopers patrolling the highways of Indiana seemed loved quite a bit more than most.
According to a poll conducted by Wealth of Geeks, 3,000 people were surveyed and asked to pick out which state police uniforms were the sexiest out of all 50 states.
Turns out, Hoosier lawmen cut quite the striking figure when decked out in their trooper blues.
Named the 10th sexiest state police uniform in America, Indiana trooper’s navy fit was called a “blend of heartland values and contemporary design,” by Wealth of Geeks.
“The ensemble, cinched with a belt that nods to the state’s industrious spirit, is not just about law enforcement but is also a statement of style, embodying Indiana’s commitment to excellence in service,” the website said.
In short, out of the 3,000 adults surveyed, Indiana state troopers were a long arm of the law many would be happy to have wrapped around them.
While Indiana may not have claimed the prize of sexiest in the U.S., Hoosiers can hang their hats on having the best-looking state police uniforms in all the Midwest.
Texas took home the top honors, no doubt landing a few extra points thanks to their cowboy hats.
In second place, was New Hampshire with their stately forest green fits invoking a forest ranger, outdoorsy look.
Missouri, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Washington state, Florida and Hawaii rounded out the top ten.
Ohio came closest to challenging Indiana in the Midwest, landing a few spots behind the Hoosier state at 13th. Nearby Illinois came in at 18th while Michigan landed at 17th and Kentucky at 20th.
So next time you see the red and blues flashing in your rearview, hold your head up in pride because you’re about to be ticketed by the sexiest state police in the Midwest.
