PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The FBI executed search and arrest warrants on Thursday in at least two locations in Pasco County.
The FBI would not say how many people were taken into custody, or why the search warrants were served.
One of the investigations centered at a home on Lake Earl Drive in Hudson.
Naomi Amellya lives next door and said she heard something happening very early in the morning.
“I think that at 3:00, early I heard the helicopter above and I heard something, twice the boom around here,” she said. “At 5:30 already the cars were in here.”
The neighborhood where the home is located is just north of State Road 52.
As people took an evening stroll down the street, after the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and FBI left the area, they joked this kind of thing doesn’t happen here often.
A spokesperson for the FBI said it will be up to the U.S. Attorney’s Office to release information about why the raid was conducted and what, if anything, was found.
