TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Officials are searching for a woman who was kidnapped early Thursday morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 1:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a call about a possible kidnapping in the area of Bordeaux Village Place in Tampa, near the University of South Florida.
Deputies said they spoke to witnesses who saw Jayanna Clark, 25, when she was forced into a black Nissan sedan by two individuals.
Detectives said they believe Clark was kidnapped by Jahvontae Bell, 26, who has a warrant out for his arrest in Pinellas County on armed kidnapping charges.
“We are using every resource available to ensure the safe return of this young woman,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “If you see something or know anything about her whereabouts, please reach out to our detectives.”
Bell is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, officials said do not approach and call 813-247-8200.
