North Carolina couple charged after toddler left in car at ‘Locked and Loaded’ bar
GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — A man and woman are in trouble with the law after their 1-year-old child was left alone in a car outside a bar Saturday night, Garner police said.
The incident was reported just before 11:30 p.m. at the Locked & Loaded Bar & Grill at 305 McCormick St., according to the Garner Police Department.
“Arron Fuller and Dayna Fuller left their 1-year-old child in the back of a running vehicle in the back of the Locked and Loaded” parking area, Garner police said in a short statement to CBS 17 News.
The child was checked by EMS crews, who said the child had no injuries, police said. It’s not clear how long the child was alone in the car.
The victim was released back into the custody of Dayna Fuller, who was cited with misdemeanor child abuse, according to police.
Arron was detained and taken to the Wake County Detention Center where he was charged with misdemeanor child abuse, police said.
Child protective services was also contacted, officers said.
