COLUMBIA, S.C. (NewsNation Now) — Authorities in South Carolina seized over $300,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise from a Columbia business.
The seizure followed a six-month investigation into NewImageSC and its operator, according to Secretary of State Mark Hammond.
The business started on Facebook, before getting a storefront in Columbia. Hammond said NewImageSC sold fake items labeled as Louis Vuitton, Versace, Gucci, Nike and several other brands.
