JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) – The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing Jashaun Heyward.

Officials say he escaped from the Jasper County Courthouse’s custody at 2:08 p.m. on Thursday.

Heyward is facing charges of assault, battery 2nd degree, and weapons violation. He fled during a bond revocation hearing.

Heyward was last seen wearing a black and grey shirt with white and black Nikes, while still in handcuffs.
