TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is being sued by a Florida woman who claims Hill broke her leg while “forcefully” shoving her during a football lesson at his home, according to a lawsuit filed on Friday.

Sophie Hall, an influencer, model and actress who lives in Pasco County, filed the lawsuit in Broward County.

Hall purchased a ticket for her 10-year-old son to attend the “Tyreek Hill Football Camp” at Boca Raton High School in June 2023, according to the lawsuit. Hall claims she was never in contact with Hill before she purchased the ticket.

The day after Hall registered her son for the event, Hill sent direct messages to her on Instagram and commented about her height “in a flirtatious and playful manner,” according to the lawsuit.

“Yesterday I literally just paid for your camp for my son and now you’re here,” Hall said in a reply to Hill’s messages. Hill then responded he’ll see her “towering over everyone I guess,” according to the lawsuit.

Hill went on to say “I’ve been known to be a good stepdad.” The lawsuit includes screenshots of the message exchange.

After Hall’s son attended the camp, Hill asked Hall to visit him at his home, according to the lawsuit.

Hill made travel arrangements for Hall to visit him at his home in Southwest Ranches on June 28, according to the lawsuit. Hall arrived at his home and Hill had to leave for a couple hours, but when he returned, he had a session with his trainer on his turf field while Hall stood by and watched.

Hill then asked Hall to join him for offensive line drills, “since her 10-year-old son played offensive lineman — she should practice that position as well,” according to the lawsuit. During the drill, Hill told Hall to rush him like she was going after a quarterback.

Hall pushed Hill backwards, drawing laughs from Hill’s mother, sister, friend, and trainer, according to the lawsuit. Hill reportedly became angry, “apparently embarrassed by his loss of stability as a result of contact by a woman during the ‘football play.'”

Hill then set up the same drill but with the roles reversed, and after the ball was snapped, she held her own, the lawsuit states. He set up the play again, but this time “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries.”

Hall suffered a fractured right leg, which required surgery and metal hardware implantation, according to the lawsuit.

Hill, “nicknamed the ‘Cheetah’ for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field,” the lawsuit reads. “Unfortunately, after getting ‘humiliated’ in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged, and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg, requiring surgery with orthopedic reconstruction and hardware implantation.”

Hill is accused of downplaying Hall’s injury and didn’t get her any medical attention. He reportedly told her to “rest” and offered her to lay down and ice her leg, according to the lawsuit.

Hall returned home on July 1 and went to her Orthopedist where she was diagnosed with the leg fracture.

Hall attends weekly physical therapy sessions to deal with the injury and has pain and weakness in her lower extremities, according to the lawsuit.

Hall is suing Hill for battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. Hall is seeking a jury trial.

Hill has not publicly commented on the allegations. Online court records didn’t list an attorney for Hill who could comment on the lawsuit.
