(NewsNation) — Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been cited for careless driving and a seat belt violation in an altercation with police that included Hill being dragged out of his car and being forced to the ground by officers before Sunday’s season-opener.

Miami-Dade Police publicly announced the citations Tuesday, two days after Hill became involved in the altercation with police that was captured on body camera footage that was released Monday.

According to the citation, police said that Hill was traveling at a high rate of speed, estimated to be around 60 mph in a high-traffic area that included pedestrians and vehicles. Police also say that Hill was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident.

On Tuesday, police also released the name of the Miami-Dade police officer who was involved in the altercation. Police said that Officer Danny Torres, a 27-year veteran of the department, remains on administrative leave as the department’s internal affairs investigation continues into the matter.

Police said Monday that Hill was not “immediately cooperative” with police. Hill’s legal team said they are considering legal action after the 30-year-old NFL was detained by police.

The body camera footage shows officers cursing at Hill, but the wide receiver did not resist physical force and attempt to strike officers. Hill did tell one of the officers not to tell him what to do during the altercation, according to the footage.

“Just give me my ticket, bro, so I can go. I am going to be late. Do what you gotta do,” Hill told the officer while putting his darkly tinted window back up, according to the footage.

“Keep your window down,” the officer told him, again tapping on the glass. Hill can still be seen inside.

The officer then demanded Hill open the door. Another officer stepped up and said, “Get out of the car or I will break that … window,” using an obscenity.
