WASHINGTON D.C. (NewsNation Now) — Computer glitches caused problems for students across the country going back to school on Tuesday.
The technical issues come as classes start back up again after the extended Labor Day weekend.
Officials at the online learning platform Blackboard reported that websites failed or loaded too slow.
Blackboard provides technology for 70 of the country’s 100 biggest school districts.
Districts in Texas, Idaho and Kansas all reported technical problems. Problems occurred earlier in the school year in Alabama, North Carolina and Washington.
