(NEXSTAR) — The U.S. is an expansive country, full of widely different cities — from the coastal towns to mountainous neighborhoods, small towns and sprawling metros, your options are nearly overwhelming if you’re looking to relocate.

Of all the places to live in the United States, it’s a Florida city that stands as the best, according to U.S. News and World Report’s latest rankings.

After considering the aspects people are most concerned about, like crime rates, quality of education, air quality, and value, the report found that Naples, Florida, is the top spot in the U.S. Analysts pointed to the city’s “pristine beaches, sprawling golf courses, and fine dining and shopping.”

Naples replaced Green Bay at the top of the list. The Wisconsin city, frequently at the top of U.S. News’ rankings, fell to 12th this year.

Here are the top 10 best places to live, according to the newest report:

  1. Naples, Florida
  2. Boise, Idaho
  3. Colorado Springs, Colorado
  4. Greenville, South Carolina
  5. Charlotte, North Carolina
  6. Raleigh, North Carolina
  7. Huntsville, Alabama
  8. Virginia Beach, Virginia
  9. Austin, Texas
  10. Boulder, Colorado

While Naples was touted for its beaches, Trip Advisor previously ranked Siesta Beach in Florida’s Sarasota County, some 115 miles north, as the second-best in the country behind Ka’anapali Beach in Hawaii.

If you prefer more populated cities, U.S. News ranked Houston, Texas, as the best place to live among those with a population over 2.5 million (though it ranked 97th overall among the main list).

You can view the full rankings here.

U.S. News also reviewed cities for their desirability for retirees. None of the places listed above ranked among the top 10. Instead, Pennsylvania dominated, with seven of its cities landing among the best places to retire, including No. 1 ranked Harrisburg.
