2 injured in 30 vehicle pile-up in Montana
LOCKWOOD, Mont. (NewsNation Now) — A 30-vehicle pileup on a Montana interstate Saturday critically injured two drivers, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
MHP said two people were critically injured after they jumped from a bridge to avoid being hit by a vehicle. They are expected to recover. No deaths were reported.
I-90 Westbound lanes were shut down starting I-94 split near Johnson Lane but reopened around 6:23 p.m, MHP tweeted.
Officials say “ice on the Yellowstone River Bridge” is the suspected cause of the crash.
