US Rep. Graves doesn't believe fired FEMA worker was alone in alleged bias | Morning in America
Congressman Garret Graves, R-La., joins "Morning in America" ahead of Tuesday's subcommittee hearing probing the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) response to Hurricane Helene and Milton. The hearing comes after FEMA's administrator confirmed that survivor assistance teams in Florida were told to skip homes with campaign signs supporting President-elect Donald Trump. The worker who gave that direction has since been fired. She alleges she's being "framed" and says the guidance was based on prior "hostile" encounters. "We need to get to the bottom of this," Graves said. "I have trouble believing there was just some field representative, on her own, (who) came up with this idea." #FEMA #Hearing #Hurricane
