The speech is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. (ET). Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris will be speaking this afternoon in Milwaukee. She will talk with Black business owners and union members. Democratic nominee Joe Biden may hold an event this afternoon in Pennsylvania and President Donald Trump has no public events scheduled.

🔴 The U.S. House of Representatives returns to Washington, D.C. today, but there are no votes scheduled due to the Labor Day holiday.
