Trump rally shooting: Multiple Secret Service failures before the July 13 assassination attempt targeting former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania were “foreseeable, preventable, and directly related to the events resulting in the assassination attempt that day,” a Senate investigation released Wednesday said. Investigators found no clear chain of command among the Secret Service and other security agencies and no plan for coverage of the building the shooter climbed up to open fire on Trump. Florida assassination attempt:Ryan Routh, the man authorities say staked out Trump for 12 hours on his golf course in Florida and admitted his desire to kill the former president in a letter, was indicted on an attempted assassination charge Tuesday.
