WASHINGTON (NewsNation) — “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe tells NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo that the country should “keep an eye on RFK Jr.”
“If this country was a restaurant, and millions of people looked at the menu, they’re going: ‘Really? This is it?'” Rowe said on “CUOMO.” “With great respect to the candidates, half of the country is allergic to the menu. Keep an eye on RFK. … He’s saying some things that nobody else is saying.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is fueling speculation he could join the Libertarian Party’s presidential ticket as he seeks to qualify in more states heading into November.
Rowe said he’ll be watching President Biden’s State of the Union address to see if it mentions two things: the country’s $34 trillion debt and jobs.
Kennedy raised eyebrows late last month when he spoke at the party’s annual convention in California, a development that was welcomed as a signal of intent from some libertarians and came as he gains ballot access in swing states as an independent candidate.
